Toilet Bowl vs Rice Bowl

All this while I’ve told Jonas to pee pee at “big potty”, I didn’t tell him that is called toilet bowl, I guess “big potty” is easier for him.
One day, I think it is time to correct him with right word. So I told him pee pee at “Toilet Bowl”.
Immediately, he answers me: “No! Is not bowl, is toilet! Bowl is like this (make his hand to describe the pattern of the bowl which use to eat rice)”
Ops! Again I feel every information or word introduce to them must be a correct way. Once they accepted is hard to change their mind.

Expensive stuff

Conjunction with 2009 year end school holiday and Awal Muharram holiday, I bought Jonas and his cousin to KLCC for the Dinosaur show again. It been many months requested by him.

We really feel disappointed because the Dinosaur exhibition had move to Kuantan and now is replace with "Muzika" show. In order to not 100% disappointed 2 little hearts, I let them do some dinosaurs toys shopping at the Petrosains souvenir shop.

When they got the approval to choose the toys, Jonas immeidately running toward the "Promotion" section to choose the tiny dinosaur he had bought last time. He is really loyalty because he still choosing back the same colour, same pattern dino toys that he had bought few months ago.

However, his cousin targeted on those toys display on the rack. Very soon he had choosen a box of dinasour and show me, my son immediately tell him : " Ko ko, expensive woh". He really make me laugh, my son actually do not know how to read the price or cannot see the price tag at all, maybe he know I will give this answer if he choosen those range of toys. He repeated this answer to his cousin for few others toys until his cousin give up.

Finaly both of them choose 2 sets of Best Buy Dinosaur toys at promotion area, I bought it happily because is under my budget and they also satisfy and willing to go home.

Opus - Let's Make Music Together Concert

Date : 25th May 2009
Venue : The Summit Auditorium Hall


Jonas first time participation on stage performance. We do not put high hope on him, but still hope he can show us some skill had learn so far. We are a bit disappointed, he almost not come out to the stage, when >40 children already standing on the stage, he the last one lead by teacher to the stage and standing at the most corner. He still got 2 rows of tear on his face, parents all laughing when saw he come out.


XL size friend had blocking his view and also as Jonas 'protection screen' so he will not that scared.
See no movement from Jonas at all.. haiz..


Whole song finish without any cooperation from Jonas :(

Although he do not perform at all, but as parent we still comfort ourself he had try his best because he had standing on the stage for that few mimutes without crying anymore. Keep it up and hopefully he can participate again next year.

Ben 10 Mini Chocolate Cake

Since I celebrate his birthday at his class a cake, he like to eat cake very much and always ask for cake. That day drop by a bakery and he ask for a cake again.
Since just a small mini cake, just bought to make him happy and let him cut lar.. hehehe..
Got Ben 10 somemore (although just a piece of picture -- only for see, not for eat), he like it also..

Jonas's Colouring #1

All this while I let Jonas draw on his Mickey Mouse Colour book, and on recycle paper. One day, a relative came to my house and told me should not let him draw at complicated picture, he not able to control and draw within the line.
I quickly go to Giant and bought him a simple drawing book and let him colour as much he likes.


First time is like that, give him a star as reward.


Very ugly, don't want to listsen my instruction,so stubborn with 1 colour only. No Star.


Not that good, not that bad, no need star.

Cleaning job

Jonas eating his “mamee” snacks in the living hall. Accidentally, he had poured half pack of the mamee on the floor. I did not scold him because I’m actually busy with his sister. He know he done something wrong, without think further, he go to take tissue and want to clean up the floor by himself.
He show me he had taken 1 tissue, “Mummy, tissue okay? “, I said : “mmm” . Then his started his cleaning mission.
Ops…, 1 tissue, 2 tissues, 3 tissues,…. I’m worried will he will finish whole box of tissue by then…… what you think…?
Finally, he just used 4 pieces of tissues and cleans up 90% of the dirt.
Well done! He show me again he can do 1 more work by himself. :-)

Today have a chance to let Jonas do his Qdees Reading Book 1 revision. (Actually is a bit slow, he start to read this book 9 months ago when he first enrol in the class, but I know he still unable to read independantly)

My mission had failed! Only that few pages, I had taken 15 mins to teach and that is my result. I give up, do not have patient and any idea can teach him. Need to buy supplement to boost his memory. Agree with me? Any suggestion?

Really surprised Jonas willing to listen my instruction to put on safety belt when travel in car. Previously he only stand on his car seat, after 1/1/2009 he really follow instruction to put on safety belt. hehehe, I think he had scared by my threaten. He scare polis catch him, watch too much of "Detective Conan" liao....

I had make use of Jonas to be my part time model to try the dresses I grap from Lewre warehouse sales.
I can't wait to see the dress wear in real, sorry Jonas... you had been "used" by mummy. hehehe..

Jonas's 1st X'mas gift

Jonas's 1st Christmas gift not from us, but was given by my best friend: Joanne (Siew Poh).

The gift was delivered to my house when my son was away to attend wedding dinner with father and grandmother. Is a bit disappointed he does not know who gave to him and Joanne not able to see how terror this toy is.

That night, Jonas reached home with happy smile but tired body. First thing he step into the house, he scream at the toys: “Mummy, carcar, wrommp, wrommp, carcar, …, open mummy“.
I told him a 姐姐 had gave this toys to you, I’m sure he not interest to know but only want to open the box. Only look at the box already know this must be interesting toy for him. He is so excited lar…..I opened the box for him, his search around and ask me: “Where are the car car? Where are the car car? "
Mmmm, I know the non-experience姐姐 had bought the toys only with the track only, no vehicle included.

Finally, I had bought 2 small cars @ same brand for him. He is playing the toys with his cousin everyday. See the picture attached, you can see this track got many function can play with, hopefully all function is still function during Joanne next visit, else she have to just view the movie in action only. Hahahaha…

Jonas's present from Exuan

Not sure you believe or not, but we are really superstitious, we need to prepare a present to the brother upon new born delivery. It is the 见面礼 from new born to the elder, from this gift the elder will saying the youngest in future.

I had bought Jonas 1 set of Thomas and Friend, and plan to give him in the hospital when he first time see his sister.

After Jonas got the present, we had practicing this Q&A for few days.

Q: “This gift is from your 妹妹, you must saying your 妹妹 in future, ok?”
A: “OK” (似懂非懂，Jonas nodded his head but not sure he understands or not, but that’s the confirm answer every time)

Believe or not, I can see Jonas is very sayang his sister, he is willing to give his “most ugly, most smelly, but most favorite” bolster to sister. I think this toys is worth to buy, :-)
